To promote TUI, the biggest tourism company in Germany, we created the very first bad weather competition: if you experienced the worst weather, you'd win a holiday in the Caribbean.
To participate, people would check-in their weather status on a dedicated app and get the score: the worse the weather, the more the points they would get. The score was calculated considering three categories: temperature, wind speed, and precipitations.
In a short time, the app became one of the most downloaded apps in the App Store.
